^lpt^aO objetivo deste artigo é discorrer sobre a errância constitutiva do ser humano em seu encantamento com os objetos, circunscrevendo e explorando a interrogação sobre o que é que pode fazer desse circunvolucionar em torno - e afagar - do objeto do desejo um mais-além do simples retorno do "mesmo" e um sinalizar na direção de alguma transformação efetiva do sujeito e de seu modo de gozo. Algumas passagens do Dom Quixote, de Cervantes, oferecem o contexto alegórico apropriado para reflexões sobre o tema.^len^aThe aim of this article is to discuss the constitutive wandering of the human being in his/her enchantment with the objects, marking and exploring the interrogation about what it is possible to do of this circling around - and fondling - of the object of the desire a far beyond of the simple return of the 'same' and a signaling towards some effective transformation of the subject and his/her way of jouissance. Some passages from Cervantes' Don Quixote offer the appropriate allegorical context for reflections on the topic.
