^lpt^aEste estudo tem por objetivo investigar a experiência amorosa pela via de um de seus avatares, o amor cortês, um amor delicado, cheio de cortesias e regras cavalheirescas em que o amante tudo suporta por sua Dama, mulher divinizada e inatingível. O romance cortês é um amor infeliz, marcado por entraves e sofrimento. Lacan de(se)cantou seus artifícios em diferentes momentos de sua obra. Do amor cortês interessa-me destacar o seu princípio de impossibilidade tantas vezes ressaltado. Qual o estatuto dessa impossibilidade? Trata-se da mesma impossibilidade que atinge todos os amores, mesmo os mais eternos? Para tanto, os Seminários 7, 20 e 21 foram examinados e ainda um romance de cavalaria, Tristão e Isolda que serviu para ilustrar algumas das considerações aqui apresentadas.^len^aThis study aims to investigate the experience of love by way of one of his avatars, courtly love, a gentle love, full of amenities and gentlemanly rules in which the lover endures all things by his Lady, a divinized and unreachable woman. The courteous novel is an unhappy love marked by obstacles and suffering. Lacan decanted/disenchanted its devices at different times of his work. I'm particularly interested in courtly love's principle of impossibility, so often emphasized. What is the status of this impossibility? Is it the very impossibility that affects every type of love, even the eternal one? To achieve this goal, Seminars 7, 20 and 21 were examined as well as a romance of chivalry, Tristan and Isolde, that served to illustrate some of the considerations presented here.
