This paper relates narcisism as a contemporary feature of society with Museums and photography. It first discusses antagonistic relationships between narcissism and permanence, inherent in the concept of Museum, and then the work of Barbara Kruger as the critical expression of narscissistic mechanisms present in contemporary artistic production.
