^lpt^aNa teoria do amadurecimento, a adolescência é uma etapa do desenvolvimento do ser humano. É uma aquisição do indivíduo que significa crescimento emocional, mas é, também, um momento no qual os sucessos e fracassos do bebê e das crianças retornam para se acomodar. A adolescência é o momento em que os jovens, ao emergirem da infância e se afastarem da dependência familiar em busca da posição de adultos, enfrentam dificuldades e conflitos inerentes a esse momento. As maiores dificuldades e conflitos relacionam-se às fantasias agressivas e sexuais, agora em um corpo com mais potência física, sendo grandes questões a dependência/independência, a escolha sexual e a definição da identidade como um ser adulto e responsável. Para Winnicott, o adolescente tem sua própria imaturidade e as atitudes, e a aceitação da família e dos pais é fundamental nesse processo. Como ocorre esse processo em jovens com deficiência visual? A perda ou limitação da visão é uma condição que já apresenta por si dificuldades específicas com as quais o jovem tem de se haver. Acredita-se que estas se agravam e se somam às dificuldades próprias da adolescência. Quais os cuidados necessários para ajudar esses jovens? Com base na descrição do atendimento de jovens com baixa visão, pode-se compreender melhor suas dificuldades e levantar os cuidados necessários para ajudá-los a enfrentar e resolver suas dúvidas e conflitos.^len^aIn the winnicottian's theory the adolescence is a stage of the development of the human being. It is an acquisition of the individual that means growth emotional, but is, also, a moment where the successes and failures of the baby and the children return to make comfortable themselves. The adolescence is the moment where the young, when emerging of infancy and if moving away from the familiar dependence in search of the position of adults, faces inherent difficulties and conflicts to this moment. The biggest difficulties and conflicts become related the aggressive and sexual fantasy now in a body with powerful physics, being great questions the dependence/independence, the sexual choice and the definition of the identity as an adult and responsible being. For Winnicott the adolescent has its proper immaturity and the attitudes and the acceptance of the family and of the parents are basic in this process. How to happen this process in young with visual deficiency? The loss or limitation of the vision is a condition that already presents for itself difficulties specifies with that the young has that to have itself. One gives credit that these if aggravate and if they add the proper difficulties of the adolescence. Which the cares necessary to help these young? From the description of the attendance of young with low vision it can be understood its difficulties better and to raise the cares necessary to help to face and to decide it's you doubt it them and conflicts.
