^lpt^aEste estudo visa a ilustrar, através do relato de Guntrip de suas análises com Fairbairn e Winnicott, a mudança paradigmática operada por Winnicott na teoria e na prática psicanalíticas, em particular a diferença entre uma psicanálise baseada no exemplar edípico e aquela que toma como situação-guia o bebê no colo da mãe.^len^aThe aim of this work is to illustrate, through Gutrip's report of his analysis with Fairbairn and Winnicott, the paradigmatic change worked by Winnicott in both theory and practical psychoanalysis, particularly the difference between psychoanalysis based on oedipal sample and that which takes the baby on his mother's lap as a guideline.
