^lpt^aResumo Os materiais didáticos são ferramentas fundamentais para o processo de ensino-aprendizagem e o jogo didático pode ser uma alternativa viável para auxiliar em tal processo. Neste artigo discutimos as etapas de projeto, produção, aplicação e avaliação da proposta do jogo Ludo Químico para o ensino de nomenclatura dos compostos orgânicos. A função educativa do jogo foi facilmente observada durante sua aplicação ao verificarmos o favorecimento da aquisição de conhecimento em clima de alegria e prazer. Os aspectos lúdico e cognitivo presentes no jogo são importantes estratégias para o ensino e a aprendizagem de conceitos ao favorecer a motivação, o raciocínio, a argumentação e a interação entre os alunos e com o professor.^len^aAbstract The didactic materials are fundamental tools for the teaching-learning process and the didactic game can be a feasible alternative to make easier such process. The project, the production, the application and the proposal evaluation of the game Chemical Ludo in the teaching of the organic compositions nomenclature are discussed in this article. We realized that the nomenclature rules' understanding was obtained more quickly than usual in a friendly environment. Therefore, this fact shows the educational function of the game. The playful and cognitive aspects of the game are important strategies for the teaching and the concepts learning since it instigated the motivation, the reasoning, the argument and the interaction among the students and their teacher.
