^lpt^aComo Marx e Weber abordam a questão da ciência e da tecnologia? Quais são as contribuições desses dois autores sobre essa temática? A proposta desse artigo é investigar a ciência e a tecnologia sob o aspecto da autonomia/não-autonomia. Contudo, centraremos nosso foco em dois autores seminais para as Ciências Sociais: Marx e Weber. Resgataremos os clássicos na perspectiva de compreender melhor como as questões sobre a nossa temática foram tratadas por esses autores, o que certamente dá pistas importantes sobre como a ciência e a tecnologia são pensadas atualmente.^len^a How Marx and Weber had discussed the issue of science and technology? What were the contributions of these two authors for this theme? The proposal of this article is to investigate the science and technology under the aspect of autonomy/non-autonomy. However, our focus will be on two seminal authors for the Social Sciences: Marx and Weber. We bring the classics in the spirit of better understanding how the issues on our theme were treated by these authors, which certainly gives important clues about how science and technology are thought today.
