This assay describes the concept or construct of learning self-regulated, discussing its stages, components and relevance in the educational state of the art. This is a literature search, based on the assumptions of authors who have been working on the theme. The aim of this study is contribute to the knowledge construction related to the teaching-learning process, presenting strategies that enable students, teachers and other stakeholders in the educational process, self-regulate their learning
