^lpt^aA produção desse trabalho tem por intuito compreender a conduta autolesiva, um comportamento de violência autoinfligida, a partir da perspectiva da Gestalt-terapia. Essa correlação tem o objetivo central de perceber o modo como a abordagem gestáltica lida com as práticas autolesivas e qual o papel do Gestalt-terapeuta frente essa demanda. Utilizando-se da pesquisa bibliográfica para a coleta de dados as reflexões são direcionadas a partir da percepção "gestáltica" da relação corpo-pessoa-mundo e da forma particular da Gestalt-terapia considerar um sintoma como contextualizado e do sujeito como ser-no-mundo. O trabalho facilitou ainda a reflexão sobre o papel do Gestalt-terapeuta, a qual à este importa atentar-se para a percepção do que a autolesão tem a dizer sobre o sujeito que a pratica. Ainda que o comportamento autolesivo seja difundido nos ambientes sociais, no âmbito acadêmico há uma escassez de produção sobre esse tema, sobretudo nas pesquisas brasileiras. Logo, esse trabalho tem em sua essência a premissa de contribuir com novos olhares sociais e científicos à conduta autolesiva, impulsionando para que o tema deixe de ser um tabu.^len^aThe production of this work has the objective understand the self-injurious conduct, a behavior of self-inflicted violence starting of the perspective of Gestalt-therapy. This interconnection has the central objective to perceive the way that the gestaltica approach dealing with self-injurious practices and what is the role of the Gestalt-therapist in front this demand. Using bibliographic research for the collection of data the reflections are directed from the Gestalt perception of the body-person-world relationship and the particular form of Gestalt-therapy to consider a symptom as contextualized and of the subject how to be in the world. The work facilitated the reflection on the role of the Gestalt-therapist, who to this one is attentive to the perception of what the self-injury has to say about the subject who practices it. Although self-injurious behavior is widespread in social settings, there is still a shortage of production on this subject, especially in Brazilian research. Therefore, this work has in its essence the premise of contributing with new social and scientific looks to self- injurious conduct, pushing for the topic to stop being a taboo.
