^lpt^aA Internacional Situacionista, grupo que surge em 1957 e se mantém atuante até o início da década de 70², teve como uma de suas questões principais dar visibilidade à perda de um certo “caráter lúdico” nas cidades. Atuantes como críticos do Urbanismo Moderno, através de seu Urbanismo Unitário (UU), os situacionistas propuseram uma nova forma de apropriação e percepção da arte, arquitetura e urbanismo, segundo uma ótica que os aproximava da vida cotidiana, mas ao mesmo tempo buscava trazer à tona a paixão e a emoção relacionadas à cidade. Ao demonstrarem a necessidade de unir vida cotidiana e jogo, os situacionistas denunciavam a necessidade de retorno do caráter lúdico às cidades, e se o faziam era por acreditar que o jogo havia sido perdido nos contextos urbanos. Neste artigo, analisaremos a forma como o jogo, enquanto atividade lúdica, esteve presente no discurso situacionista e em suas propostas de atuação no espaço urbano.^len^aThe Situationist International, group that appears in 1957 and keeps operating until the beginning of the seventies, had as one of its ultimate issues giving visibility to the loss of a certain “playful character” in the cities. Operating as critical of Modern Urbanism, through its Unitary Urbanism (UU), the situationists had considered a new form of appropriation and perception of the art, architecture and urbanism using optics that approached them to the daily life, but at the same time searched to bring to debate the passion and the emotion in the city. While demonstrating the necessity to join daily life and game, the situationists denounced the necessity of a return of the playful character to the cities, and if they did so it was for believing that the game had been lost in the urban contexts. In this article we will analyze the form as the game, while playful activity, was presented in the situationist speech and its proposals of performance in the urban space.
