^lpt^aPsicanálise e neurociência: apesar da recusa de alguns, o diálogo entre estes dois campos vem se desenvolvendo de modo bastante fértil. Nosso objetivo é apontar os novos fatos científicos que estimulam a interlocução, bem como ilustrar a possibilidade do encontro por meio do relato de pesquisas já realizadas. Com isso, pretendemos fazer ver as novas possibilidades abertas pelas contribuições entre os dois campos, bem como estimular seu desdobramento, sem que isso implique a redução de um campo ao outro. Pelo contrário, as especificidades são mantidas, apenas o isolamento se desfaz. Com isso, ganham aqueles que, em função de seu sofrimento, precisam recorrer às "medicinas da alma"^len^aPsychoanalysis and neuroscience: in spite of the refusal of some scholars, the dialogue between these two fields is developing in a fertile manner. Our objective is to highlight new facts that stimulate this dialogue and to illustrate the possibility of this encounter by examining current research on this issue. In doing so, we intend to examine new possibilities opened by the the contributions put forth by both fields and examine their unfoldings without reducing each field to the other. On the contrary, their specificities are to be maintained while the respective isolation of each field is called into question. The beneficiaries of this move are those who find the need to turn to "medicines of the mind" due to their suffering.
