^lpt^aO trabalho defende novo encaminhamento para os estudos da Psicologia da Linguagem, comumente orientados por uma abordagem representacionalista. Na interface entre estudos da Linguística, Filosofia da Linguagem e as filosofias de Bergson, Deleuze e Guattari, assim como o pensamento de Foucault, uma perspectiva pragmática acerca da linguagem ganha realidade. A linguagem deixa de ser considerada instrumento de conhecimento do mundo e, compreendida como ato, assume o poder de intervenção sobre o mundo. Inicialmente, apresentam-se as práticas linguageiras que atuam como marcadores de poder, que realizam transformações na realidade orientadas pelas circunstâncias histórico-políticas vigentes. Em seguida, discute-se a força pragmática das palavras na invenção de novas realidades. Conclui-se pela necessidade de estender o poder inventivo da linguagem para além dos limites da Literatura, e, a partir de releitura da filosofia de Bergson, propõe-se a inseparabilidade entre linguagem e criação.^len^aThe current investigation suggests a new direction for the study of psychology of language, which commonly has a representational approach. In the interface between linguistic studies, philosophy of language and the works by Bergson, Deleuze, and Guattari, as well as Foucault´s line of thought, a pragmatic perspective arises. Language ceases being considered an instrument for knowledge of the world and, understood as action, obtains the power to intervene in the world. Initially, the authors introduce language practices that serve as indicators of power and, steered by historical and political circumstances, transform reality. Next, the authors discuss the pragmatic power of words in the creation of new realities. Finally, the authors contend that there is a need to stretch the inventive power of language beyond literature and, through another examination of Bergson´s philosophy, propose that language and creation are inseparable.
