This study is inserted in the debates about psychosocial rehabilitation of people in psychological distress. The categories that compose the therapeutic tripod of Nise da Silveira - affectivity, activity and freedom - provide the conceptual framework to analyze the discourse of members of the Center for Creation and Research Frogs and Drowned, Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil, which works with theater and cinema and is formed by users of mental health services. The field research was made by observing the essays and group works and by individual semi-structured interviews. Six actors and the director were interviewed. The analysis of these discourses adopted some of the Foucault's point of views. As results, it is confirmed the importance of the therapeutic tripod proposed by Nise da Silveira in everyday practice of the group Frogs and Drowned. Some reflections on disciplinary power in the mental health field and the place of the group resistance were also elaborated.
