This article identifies specilized national literature about affect in the Workplace, one of many dimentions of Organizational Behavior. A review of International literature gives support to the present study. We tried to compare national articles to this review, from the year of 1996 to 2001. Fourteen articles were found related to affect in the workplace. They were grouped according two dimensions: Job Satisfaction and Pleasure-Suffering on the job. They were also analysed according their methodology, results and discussion. Data indicated that were two approaches behind those articles, one following the American school and the other following the French school. Although their principles differ, we suggest they might complet each other.
