Supervision is one of the essentials of the psychologist's professional work; it has different characteristics according to the application field. In this article the features of the supervision method in the work with communities are analyzed. It is defined as a place of support for the planning, development and evaluation of the moments of insertion, development and closure of the community projects; by strengthening to the team on the co-construction of the paradigm on which the task is held. On the supervision device the team works as a group, by assuming the interpersonal disagreements, contributing to the interdisciplinary issues as well as the intercultural look. As an interface between therapeutic and formative processes, it works encouraging the investigative co-production and the reflective look about the own implications of the task. The supervision based on the ethics applied to care purposes is always a collective process, which may be interdisciplinary and it could also add no professional staff on any time during its development.
