^lpt^aO presente trabalho investigou as relações entre amizade e música nas composições de Vinicius de Moraes, partindo da perspectiva dialética de Robert Hinde sobre os relacionamentos interpessoais e do modelo proposto por Adams e Bliezsner para amizades adultas. O material de análise se constituiu das composições feitas com quatro parceiros: Tom Jobim, Carlos Lyra, Baden Powell e Toquinho. As letras foram submetidas à análise de conteúdo e comparadas entre si. Os resultados indicaram diferentes temas, com predominância de (a) amor romântico; (b) mulher; e (c) valores e estilos de vida. O trabalho discute relações entre amizade e música, contribuição da noção de amizades culturais e a relação entre amizades, movimentos culturais e cultura.^len^aThis study investigated the relationship between music and musical partnership in the work of Vinicius de Moraes, based on the dialectical perspective of Robert Hinde on interpersonal relationships and the model proposed by Adams and Bliezsner regarding friendships among adults. The material for analysis were the lyrics of songs in partnership composed with Tom Jobim, Carlos Lyra, Baden Powell and Toquinho. These compositions were subject to analysis of content and the songs were compared for their content. The results indicated different themes in these songs, especially as (a) romantic love, (b) woman, and (c) values and lifestyles. The paper discusses the relationship between friendship and music, the contribution of the concept of cultural friendships and the relationship between friendships, cultural movements and culture.
