The present study aimed to understand the meaning of spirituality in the daily life of Carmelite nuns. This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach carried out in Carmelo Santa Maria Mãe de Deus-PB/BR, approved by the Research Ethics Committee-CCS, under Opinion 4,473,717 and CAEnº40592320.2.0000.5188. Accessibility sampling was adopted, resulting in the participation of three religious women aged 22-38 years, born in the Northeast region. The entry of nuns into the Order took place during their youth. Data were obtained by means of letters in the period from March to April 2021. The empirical material was analyzed by the Content Analysis Technique, using systematic and objective methods. The analysis of the letters revealed two categories: the interface of everyday life with spirituality; and the encounter with God related to the meaning of life. The reports showed that the religious women's engagement in everyday life was driven by a deep religious feeling, revealing a deep experience of meaning
