^lpt^aO artigo apresenta uma reflexão sobre as possibilidades de atuação do psicólogo organizacional a partir do referencial analítico-comportamental. Enfatiza a importância dos estudantes de Psicologia procurarem espaços para exercício da profissão fora das áreas mais tradicionais, que são o atendimento clínico individualizado ou consultorias externas (seleção de trabalhadores, treinamento etc.). A Análise do Comportamento considera que os comportamentos emitidos pelos trabalhadores são a interação destes com seu ambiente de trabalho, incluindo-se neste último seus relacionamentos com outros trabalhadores (ambiente social) e práticas culturais e empresariais vigentes. O texto oferece um exercício simplificado de possíveis aplicações de conhecimentos produzidos em modelos experimentais para melhorar a relação trabalhador-empresa e prevenir problemas de saúde. Este enfoque pode reinserir o psicólogo organizacional no âmbito das decisões estratégicas e políticas das empresas.^len^aThis article presents a reflection on the possibilities of performance of the organizacional psychologist under the analytical-behavioral referencial. It emphasizes the importance of the psychology students to look for spaces to exercise the profession outside the most traditional ones, which are individual clinical treatments or external consulting (headhunting, training etc.). The behavioral analysis approach considers that the worker's behavior is the interaction between him/her and the working environment, including in this last the relationships with other workers (social environment) as well as cultural and management practices in place. The text offers a simplified exercise of possible applications of the knowledge produced experimentally to improve the relationship between worker and company and to prevent health problems. This approach can re-introduce the organizational psychologist in the scope of the strategical decisions and politics of the companies.
