The paper presents references for articulation of evaluative research in the National Humanization Policy (PNH). Is based on alignments in the fields of PNH, Evaluation and Evaluative Research, viewing investigative-evaluative processes that can leverage the purposes of PNH. The main goal is to emphasize the methodological way of expanded participation of the subjects (researchers and actors involved in the study) in these processes and their applied character in public health. In this direction, it is stated that the Evaluative Research in PNH claims on two major pillars: as intervention research to transform the realities of health and enhancing participative-emancipatory character of all subjects involved, appropriating reflexively situations, sharing analyzes, decisions and being part of the production of knowledge.
