Computer information systems are increasingly present in the various human activities, bringing facilities for those who use them. Through computers psychology has the opportunity to obtain benefits in their field, speeding up the mechanical work and increasing the accuracy of the psychological tests. Thus, this study was designed with the goal of developing an exploratory research in a universe of 15 psychologists who work with Recruitment and Selection in the city of Manaus, seeking to raise the practical aspects of work in this context, verify the advantages of using these instruments, and assess their acceptance. To this were applied semi‑structured interviews, whose results were later listed in categories of analysis. Thereafter, there was a low use of computerized tests and the lack of knowledge about them. But the professionals were favorable to the use of technological tools that can assist them in carrying out their activities within organizations.
