LEAO, Luís Henrique da Costa. Territory and environmental (in)justice: a scientific agenda for organizational and work psychology. Cad. psicol. soc. trab. [online]. 2013, vol.16, n.2, pp.183-198. ISSN 1516-3717.
This paper discusses the relation between organizational and work psychology and territory and environmental justice, in order to debate elements to create an agenda of knowledge production before social and environmental demands of the current production model. The objective of this paper was to analyze the concepts of territory and environmental justice, identifying challenges to researches and professionals investigations and actions in this field of knowledge. An analysis of the concept of territory was made - as did Milton Santos - and of the historic construction of the concept environmental justice, as well as an analysis of the records of the Brazilian Congress of Organizational and Work Psychology. The results demonstrates that organizational and work psychology did not incorporate categories like territory and environmental justice, and that its emphasis is on the intra-organization fields. At last, possibilities to a research agenda that rethink the role of the organizations and the workers outside the institutional walls are discussed, comprising them in an enlarged environment and territory, which goes beyond the idea of environmental corporate responsibility.
