This paper discusses aspects concerning the research specificity in clinics of work, notably, the research which discusses work as activity in the clinic of activity approach. In order to do so, we will initially deal with clinic, clinics of work, and clinic-research of work. Then, we will weave considerations regarding dialogy and cartography in clinic of activity. Ultimately, we will present aspects related to the course taken by the researchers during a research carried out with operational managers of a Brazilian public company.
