The 'Espaço Ciência Viva' (ECV) and Julia Kubitschek State College (CEJK) signed a partnership that since 2010 has enabled joint activities in the education of students of secondary school of teacher education. Earlier each year, the activities begin with a training course for mediators, made for CEJK students and undergraduate courses. In it are held about twenty workshops with various themes. After the course, twenty students, on average, CEJK still participating in training visits for school groups and events open to the public. In 2010 and early 2011 were assessed through questionnaires and interviews of students' perceptions about the stage. These indicated satisfaction with the stage at ECV, and the relevance of learning achieved. At the end of 2010, revealed 80% of the students enjoy most of Sciences and 20% reported continuing with the same pleasure they already had. The contact of students with different audiences as mediators in situations of scientific broadened their perceptions about science and about teaching and learning events. The activities in ECV have provided knowledge and stimulate the creativity of the students for their future practice as teachers. © Cien. Cogn. 2011; Vol. 16 (3): 066-077
