This study aims to report the contribution of psychological intervention in prevention and treatment of high risk factors in Ischemic Heart Disease in childhood, mainly the childhood obesity factor. The patients have individual surgery and are accompanied by their mothers at the first one. This meeting evaluates issues regarding family configuration and its natural/internal bonds. The most important outcomes can be noticed in patients’ abilities to express better their autonomous thinking, label perceptions, beliefs and values, and overall, the ability to speak, make new experiences creatively, and the capacity for searching enhancing self-esteem. This way, it is fundamental to put the families through some therapy and create inclusive strategies in order to avoid and deal with risk factors.
