SILVEIRA, Fernando de Almeida. Corpos invasivos e violentos: subjetivação e incorporação dos sentidos em Foucault e Merleau-Ponty. Rev. Mal-Estar Subj. [online]. 2007, vol.7, n.2, pp.353-384. ISSN 1518-6148.

Michel Foucault examines entangled body, submitted to the strikes of power and knowledge, which are strategically articulated in Occidental society's history. In his turn, Merleau-Ponty aims to investigate the sensible experience that germinates as an original stratum of proper body-world correlation, that is, as a region of senses that is not limited by its historical-cultural meanings because it represents our opening to the Being in general. This research starts from Foucault's conception of entangled body to analyze if Merleau-Ponty's point of view about sensible experience may be defined as a violent act in overflowing of perceptions, using the example of the correlation between sleep and vigil in incarnation and displacement senses process in phenomenical experience. The research has verified that only Merleau-Ponty proposes a joint between entanglement and germinated body, in which perception and subjectivation can be related mutually. From the discussion of the referred theorists, their commentators and other modern philosophers' bibliography, the analysis is conducted through a transdisciplinar approach, which refers to Psychology and Philosophy fields as it analyzes the complex correlation among lived and historical body and identity construction process of modern subject.
