The aim of this work is to present four tests of screening to detect difficulties in narrative and informative text comprehension in students from years 5°, 6° and 7° of primary school. The first statistical studies and the normative data from a sample of 851 students from Buenos Aires were presented. The screenings were elaborated in base on a multicomponencial model of text comprehension and the first statistical studies show that all the items differentiate between good and poor comprehenders, have acceptable internal consistency and the scores correlated with the obtained in the tasks of a more extensive tool to evaluate text comprehension (Leer para Comprender test).
