This study intends to present a connection between the theoretical model of the clinic suffering ethical and political anthropology of Gestalt therapy and the practice of psychologists in public health policies. This kind of investigation is relevant to try to enunciate a theoretical model and clinical applicable and consistent with the Brazilian social reality, known as the clinic ethical-political anthropological of suffering formulated by Muller- Granzotto and Muller-Granzotto (2010). For this, we used the qualitative research design and literature research that was intended to analyze the light of the theory of self-proposed by Perls, Hefferline and Goodman (1997), the possible articulations between Gestalt therapy and public health policies, as well to investigate how the concept of clinical ethical and political anthropology of suffering can guide the practice of the psychologist in public health. The results showed that the ethical role of the clinician is: accept the individual and listen to his appeal for support and inclusion, causing the deviation and stimulate self-system to produce creative adjustments before their needs, act directly on the function of ego and to create different ways with the sufferer to regain their autonomy, and insert themselves into public policies, manage and promote actions promoted the principles of universality, comprehensiveness and equity of the Unified Health System in conclusion, we found that the theoretical model of clinical ethical-political suffering, constitutes itself as a valuable bias for understanding the subject and identify their real needs. And allows the psychologist to intercede in the different areas of construction, learning and health production.
