GABRIEL, Layssa Ramos  e  GOTO, Tommy Akira. The Constitution of Historical Relationship as a Friendship Relationship in the Thought of Pedro Laín Entralgo. Rev. NUFEN [online]. 2015, vol.7, n.2, pp.25-47. ISSN 2175-2591.

This study aims to introduce the notion of therapeutic relationship with the thought of Pedro Lain Entralgo. For this purpose, the documentary literature was used as methodological procedure, exploring the ideas found in two works of the author: La Relacion Medico- Enfermo (1964) e Sobre La Amistad (2012). In these works the author describes the therapeutic relationship as an encounter that happens in five stages: the initial binding point, the cognitive moment, the operating time, the affective moment and the ethical-religious moment. The therapeutic relationship was systematized from its historical constitution in the doctor-patient relationship. In this sense, Entralgo highlights the close relationship that he has found between the notion of therapeutic relationship and the notion of friendship of each era of Western civilization. Both notions have being modified according to the historical moment and the ethical and anthropological view of each period, leaving repercussions on how the therapeutic relationship is experienced.
