HERRMANN, Fabio  e  HERRMANN, Leda. Who?: Today, Joyce. Ide (São Paulo) [online]. 2011, vol.34, n.53, pp.109-122. ISSN 0101-3106.

The text works out the theory of the analogous from the Multiple Fields Theory mainly through the pen of its author. It considers, firstly, the theoretical production condition in Psychoanalysis, recognizing as a fallacy to opt between creator or applicator. Application is contingent to defying clinical situations, which alternate with periods of theoretical practice in clinical form, when the psychoanalytic method itself produces theory, by field rupture. The paper ends with an analysis/interpretation of Joyce’s Ulysses, as an exercise of extensive clinic amid the analogous reign.

Palavras-chave : Multiple Fields Theory; Theory of the analogous; Literary fiction.
