This qualitative study focused on ethnic-racial relations according to the conception of a segment of oriental psychologists in the city of São Paulo, describing the stereotypes associated with this ethnic-racial and cultural affiliation and their influence on personal identity and performance of these psychologists. A total of 8 interviews have been made, with 2 men and 6 women, between 31 and 70 year, in São Paulo city. The interviews analysis showed the racialization of oriental people in Brazil, as their interpersonal and professional relations are mediated by their phenotypical difference. This difference is revealed in some nicknames, in the way oriental people are seen as the different element, and through the stereotypes build around their social image.
