RODRIGUES-MORAIS, Rosângela; COUTO, Maria Cristina Ventura; FARIA, Dirley Lellis dos Santos  e  MODENA, Celina Maria. Crisis care and urgency at Betim's Center for Children and Adolescents Psychosocial Care. Pesqui. prát. psicossociais [online]. 2019, vol.14, n.1, pp.1-15. ISSN 1809-8908.

The Brazilian public policy for children and adolescents' mental health is recent and is still under consolidation. The study analyzes the care provided to emergency situations and crisis in a Center for Children and Adolescents Psychosocial Care (CAPSi). This is an exploratory study of qualitative approach. The data were submitted to content analysis, having as subjects the managerial mandate and the therapeutic mandate of CAPSi. The results indicate priority in the care to situations of crisis or urgency. The difficulties reported in the organization of teamwork are inherent in a complex process, such as care in freedom, requiring permanent critical reflection and investment of all the actors involved in the field of care. The study also indicates that the intersectoral ordering model proposed by the municipality was not fully implemented, CAPSi and Primary Care do not develop joint actions, causing damages to the construction of the Psychosocial Care Network.
