MOTA, Evanilda Bulcão. Socioeducation in the time of cholera. Rev. Epos [online]. 2016, vol.7, n.2, pp.42-54. ISSN 2178-700X.

This report of experience aims to demonstrate how Psychoanalysis was used in the area of security, in Units of socioeducation in the State of Bahia, from 2015 to 2016. Taking into account the relationship between deprivation of liberty for adolescents and the violence existing in this universe, and Violence arising from the history of each of them, with cuts in situations lived within the Communities of Socio-educational Assistance – Cases, which act with the measures of deprivation of freedom and semi-liberty, in this State. Signaling other possible forms of coping with violence that do not reinforce also violent resources on the part of the institutions (ANDRADE, 2015), but rather, they make possible the accountability of the infraction, guaranteeing real conditions of life changes and a more productive and happy development (RUSCHE and KIRCHHEIMER, 2004). In this context, it is clear that the perspective was to promote specialized actions in the area of security, where dialogue, observation, understanding of the student's history (adolescent or young person in compliance with socio-educational measure) and the history of professionals in that area in each Unit were heard and taken into account for the planning of activities. The methodology initially adopted was that of on-site observation, in situations of conflict, to understand the afflictions, expectations and tensions of this area, with subsequent formation of Working Groups (WG), based on the Operational Groups (GO), for analysis and Interventions with planning, using the critical situations experienced as referential (PEREIRA, 2013).
