SILVA, Pedro Gustavo et al. BULLYING: COMPARATIVE STUDY OF PERCEPTIONS OF SCHOOLCHILDREN, TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATIVE TECHNICIANS. Constr. psicopedag. [online]. 2023, vol.33, n.34, pp.44-60. Epub 08-Mar-2024. ISSN 1415-6954. https://doi.org/10.37388/cp2023/v33n34a05.
Bullying is a social manifestation of a violent and sometimes silent character that plagues the current society so that reflections on its scope are necessary, especially in a context that may be one of the most influential for its development: the school. The present study aimed to analyze and compare between two schools (one public and one private) in the municipality of Lavras Sul MG, as the subject of bullying was being treated. The studies follow a qualitative perspective as a methodology and production method. The analysis was based on the perception of students, teachers and administrative professionals. A semi-structured interview was applied to collect and produce data from teachers and administrative technicians. To collect information about students’ perception, interpersonal relationship dynamics were applied. The results obtained were satisfactory for the research, and it can be noted that both schools need to address the topic more, considering that everyone who participated in the research knew about the existence of the phenomenon, however, a large part were unaware of simple things about the cause and consequence. A fact that made it clear that school staff, despite having different teaching systems, do not prioritize professional preparation to deal with bullying. It was concluded that this result is not affirmative to say that all schools do not know about bullying, but that research in this sense should be done more frequently and actions should be taken in these schools, especially in small municipalities, so that, through educational actions, bullying is combatted.
