CASTRO, Paulo Alexandre e. The onto-phenomenology of the world in Merleau-Ponty or the (un)thinking of Husserl: reading the philosopher and his shadow. Estud. pesqui. psicol. [online]. 2008, vol.8, n.2. ISSN 1808-4281.
In the text The Philosopher and his Shadow, Merleau-Ponty give us his main theory of the constitution of the Body and the relationship in and within the world, but also presents a critical judgement about these and other certain concepts that Husserl would not considered, and that our author called as the unthinking. In this manner, Merleau-Ponty configures in his system the embodied conscience and the Flesh (also called Wild Being) as main concepts, which allows him, to create what we intend to call the Onto-phenomenology of the Sensible, and beyond doubt a new horizon for the inter-Subjectivity, such as Sartre have already started. Thus, the understanding of this text is essential to the global vision of phenomenology itself.
