SOUZA, Rodolfo Rodrigues de. Reflections on Subjectivity: Four Narratives and Some (In)Conclusions. Estud. pesqui. psicol. [online]. 2021, vol.21, n.3, pp.1160-1177. ISSN 1808-4281. https://doi.org/10.12957/epp.2021.62733.
The present article purposes to put into tension different theoretical conceptions about the notion of subjectivity, reflecting on how each idea influences practices in the field of psychological clinic. These notions are themed in regard of four brief narratives that brings light to the ideas of their authors on subjectivity: Bruno Latour and the Actor-Network Theory; Nigel Thrift and his notion of a spatialized subjectivity; Sartre and the discussions regarding the subject in history; Mattijs van de Port and Annemarie Mol and the act of eating. Then, some propositions that comment on the presented narratives are outlined as (in)conclusions, connecting theoretical thinking with practices in the psychotherapy field. By proposing a dialogue between the thought of the French Bruno Latour, sociologist, and Jean-Paul Sartre, philosopher, in relation to subjectivity, it can be read as a contribution to the approximation between Actor-Network Theory and Phenomenology as considered by Sartre.
