From a (psycho)neurolinguistics approach, the aim of this study was to compare the performance of two groups of good and poor comprehenders in a task that requires revising the situational model that is being built from a textual input. 92 subjects between 10 and 12 years old were evaluated with two texts which require the revision of a current situational model. A U de Mann Whitney statistical test showed a significant performance difference in favor of good comprehenders who had a better performance and less intusion errors in relation to poor comprehenders. Revision is a way of updating that implies a greater cognitive effort to readers who experiences difficulties in reading comprehension tasks.
