COMELLAS, Maria Jesús. Violence in the schools: why a focus change?. Rev. psicopedag. [online]. 2008, vol.25, n.78, pp.255-263. ISSN 0103-8486.

Analyses of the relationships between students that focus their attention on the description of the facts, individual actions and also individual responses distort one of the main objectives of education: to promote the socialisation process of the whole population in terms both of the group and of groups at the heart of the school institution. In these times of major change and at the core of complex societies, there is a need to search for references to enable an understanding of the dynamics and factors that determine events and behaviours in order to enable educational action that can overcome this immobilist focus and make it possible to search for new strategies that are able to improve relationships between pupils. To do this, it was felt that there was an essential need for more in-depth analysis of a change of focus and view of the dynamics and phenomena that determine them. With this aim, so fundamental in the framework of the research being presented, we seek to find out how teachers can broaden their views and, at the same time, find a focus in their work by establishing relational networks at the heart of the centre's and the municipality's teams.
