SILVA, Lorrayne Caroline Garcia e SEI, Maíra Bonafé. Analysis of brief group intervention among depressed women in a psychology school clinic. Bol. - Acad. Paul. Psicol. [online]. 2019, vol.39, n.96, pp.33-45. ISSN 1415-711X.
Several studies aimed to characterize the population attended in psychology school clinics, however there is less incidence of studies that discuss the interventions developed in these spaces. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of a brief group intervention in women affected by depression in a psychology school clinic. The objective was to understand how the group can help in the improvement of depressive disorders and what are the benefits of this type of psychological intervention. The Operationalized Adaptive Diagnostic Scale - EDAO (EDAO-R) was used in two moments: on reaching the psychological clinic and after the group intervention. Four women participated in the study, being observed that, although two participants participated in only one of the group meetings, the brief group intervention was shown as a space for sheltering prior to the beginning of psychotherapy, contributing to the exchange and expression, in addition to the link with the institution.
