SILVA, Brenda Albuquerque Adriano da  e  BRAGA, Liliane Pereira. Promoting factors on mother-baby bonding in immediate puerperium in the hospital: integrative literature review. Rev. SBPH [online]. 2019, vol.22, n.1, pp.258-279. ISSN 1516-0858.

The mother-baby bond is characterized by covering the dimensions of emotions, feelings, and behaviors. This bond, when constructed in a safely manner, may provide the child a healthy biopsychological development. It is relevant to understand the aspects that contribute to the construction of the bond during the puerperium, as it is a critical period for the development of attachment. The puerperium is initially lived inside the hospital, which offers the necessary specialized assistance, and can also develop actions that favor the mother-baby bond. Thus, the present study sought to investigate the factors that promote mother-baby bonding in the hospital. An integrative review of the literature was carried out, obtaining works from the following online databases: LILACS, Pubmed and Scielo. After the inclusion and exclusion criteria, a total of 4 articles were included. After content analysis and data categorization, three classes were formed: first contact between mother-baby; breast-feeding and mother-baby bond; and setting in the maternity. The data found showed the importance of the hospital environment for the promotion of the bond between the dyad, as well as humanized actions aimed at this population.

Palavras-chave : mother-child relations; postpartum period; maternity.
