SONODA, Katerine da Cruz Leal. Post modernity and psychic malaise production. Rev.Mal-Estar Subj [online]. 2013, vol.13, n.3-4, pp.643-664. ISSN 1518-6148.
It is intended in this text include the effects of violence on subjectivity and the health-disease individuals, starting from the assumption that violence (and the feeling of insecurity) in cities can trigger various types of suffering, somatization, malaise and, depending on severity, psychopathology. It is, therefore, violence as a social factor for the disease. Agree to the ideas of different authors in their analysis of the contemporary scene; refer to the presence of a 'malaise' today, which shows significant differences compared to previous seasons. The culture of our time, and has produced other psychopathological configurations, also gave rise to other models of psychic functioning. This affects, for the clinic directly (in this case psychoanalytic) and a wider field affects their own management and public health services, to the extent that present themselves as new demands for intervention, treatment and expense. The aim of this work is to think of contemporary forms of malaise in parallel with psychoanalytic formulations of this concept, addressing the contemporary studies of psychopathology, its causes and possible ways to affect health. The significant increase epidemiological certain psychological and psychosomatic disorders (such as Panic Disorder, the Agarofobia Disorder, Posttraumatic Stress, Depression, Phobic anxiety disorders, among others) has drawn the attention of health professionals in public and in private offices, setting a challenge to care and health management. A professional attitude and ethic of care the person who suffers reduces the risk of iatrogenic interventions and unnecessary expenses.
