In this sense, the present article aims to discuss the picture of the phobia from different referential systems, the psychoanalysis and the manuals of psychiatric diagnosis, besides make a deeper analysis of the little Hans case taking the movie "Spellbound", directed by Alfred Hitchcock, as an axle. The analysis showed that Hans case pass beyond the barriers of time, remaining a reference extremely valid for those who use the psychoanalysis as a tool for work. Furthermore, it was possible to understand the link that connects the art to life.
