Considering that learning is not the result of memorizing, but overall the ability to connect and to manipulate information turning it knowledge, in this article the computer games are observed as pivotal tools for educational and mental training, highly attractive to students. Principles as immersion and interactivity could contribute to learning process being highly motivational instrument. © Ciências & Cognição 2006; Vol. 07: 105-110.
