ROCHA, Leonardo Perissé  e  SHOLL-FRANCO, Alfred. >Motor memory: why we never forget how to ride a bicycle?. Ciênc. cogn. [online]. 2006, vol.9, pp.158-161. ISSN 1806-5821.

The motor learning influences specific mechanisms related with its storage, which is called associative memory and comprehends the motor abilities acquisition and development through the repetition of gesture, what provide the movement mechanization. It is possible that the organization must be derived from plasticity occurring in the cerebellar nucleus. With the performance extinction, when the reacquisition happens, it's faster than the original acquisition. Thus, the motor memory is important not just to repeat later the same activity faster; as well as, in learning of new gestures that have similar movements. © Ciências & Cognição 2006; Vol. 09: xxx-xxx.
