VICENTIN, Maria Cristina G.  e  TAKEITI, Beatriz Akemi. Minority lives, a policy of intensity. Clín. & Cult. [online]. 2019, vol.8, n.1, pp.112-123. ISSN 2317-2509.

In contemporary times, the political subjectivation of children and adolescents is enhanced either by consolidating the specific rights of these segments, or by establishing new actors who question the place of hegemonic political discursivity. Based on the hypothesis, derived from Childhood Social Studies, that the perspective of "subject of rights" is insufficient for the emancipation of children and adolescents, we aim to discuss the political subjectivation of children and adolescents within two movements: by presenting a critical perspective of the historical construction of the political incapability of children and adolescents, based on a revision of the literature; by suggesting, with basis on data from research carried out with adolescents, that certain juvenile experimentations, especially the physical ones, produce new meanings with regard to politics (and rights).

Palavras-chave : rights; subjectivation; politics; childhood; adolescence.
