The present paper aims to analyze the main biopsychosocial damage of child labor, perceived by researchers. Through of a qualitative study with nine adulthood volunteers, was possible to check, beyond the suffering, the reasons that lead them to the early work, due to the family, cultural and economic operation. The instrument used to data collection, was a semistructured interview. In the content analysis was possible to visualize four categories: memories and scenarios of work in childhood, school education despite the work, losses and wins and personal and impersonal childhood. Concluding, we understand that the child labor has generated damage to the subjectivity of these persons, in order to deny the access to education, removing of reducing the living of important activities for the weakening of socialization processes, due to acquired responsibility with the work that helped the familiar support.
