The interpersonal relationships show that a person can influence attitudes and behaviors of others. These relations in which the existence or availability of people in trust, show concern for the other, enhance, to communicate, help, assist with the resources available, summarizes what is social support. This study sought to raise the influences of social support in the work environment on the health of the worker and how it can interfere with their professional behaviour. It was a study of literature review that was used secondary sources of publications in databases of health. To search the key-words used were health, social support, social support, work, interpersonal relations. It was found that when there is sufficient social support there is some "absorption" part of the adverse effects of the environment which, therefore, might minimize the release of diseases, and thus foster a good working performance of tasks by workers.
