The objective of this study was to determine the assertiveness of women dependent crack, during the session "Refusals Effective", taken from a manual therapy based on the stages of change for treatment in drug users group. It consists of an exploratory and descriptive qualitative approach that took place at a community women's therapy, taking your design through the transcript of the sixth session produced over randomized clinical trial entitled "Study of the effectiveness of the intervention of the transtheoretical model for dependent patients crack ". We used the technique of content analysis, which yielded the following back-categories "of drug supply strategies" and "Emerging Issue in the discussion after the role-play technique." Among the findings of this study highlight the need to role play the participants revealed that used in the exercise the same offer strategies that have often been used by others to convince them to use in their everyday experiences previously experienced, eliciting thoughts on how to refuse and feelings of disgust and fear of the drug. Therefore, understanding the dynamics of drug refusal enables the discovery of new interventions on relapse prevention in this.
