MAGALHAES, Aracê Maria Magenta. The pandemic has exacerbated relationships or loneliness. Bol. - Acad. Paul. Psicol. [online]. 2020, vol.40, n.99, pp.192-204. ISSN 1415-711X.

This paper contemplates a moment of crisis due to the pandemic of COVID-19 and aims to present two specific aspects not resulting from the referred disease, but specifically about the social isolation, recommended or in a rigorous way. Two different cases are presented: one consists in the almost total isolation of a person in his home, in exacerbated loneliness, and another case in which the person remains in isolation with three other family members, in an exacerbation of relationships in family conflicts. The theoretical support used is the Psychoanalysis, especially the Comprehensive Psychoanalysis developed by Walter Trinca, whose contributions have contributed to understand the presented cases, while leads a proposal that aims at the integration of the individual, the discovery and recognition of your own being, to the expansion of consciousness and to the avoid of increased sensoriality. This article seeks to carry out an analysis that does not end, but aims to awaken the reader to the disparity of the experiences of isolation that also produce intense and significant suffering. The theme on the psychological effects of isolation and the restriction of movement of people appears to be opportune and relevant in a moment of crisis where the mental health of the population is affected and needs a lot of care.
