The world is in one of the most complex scenarios experienced in history, the COVID-19 pandemic, which plagues all countries in the world, including Brazil. The research aimed to investigate whether the pandemic generated negative impacts or not on children's learning through the perception of parents and teachers. In order to carry out the investigation, 9 adults, two parents or guardians and a teacher from each year of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years of Elementary School were interviewed about their perception of remote education between September 2020 and April 2021. This is a survey qualitative exploratory field research and the qualitative procedure will consist of collecting data from the information through a semi-structured interview with the aim of confirming or denying the study hypothesis. The public answered a sociodemographic questionnaire and then answered the interview. After the data analysis, categories were created based on the results for the discussion, being categories of: Technical Order; Learning Order; Social Order and Emotional Order. The present article allows us to conclude, based on the analysis of the results, that the pandemic generated negative impacts on the child learning process in children who are in the literacy phase, being necessary to carry out future research to develop strategies and effective interventions for this type of problem.
