MAIANA, Jugend e JURKIEWICZ, Rachel. The psychological attendance through clinical listening during the hospitalization. Rev. SBPH [online]. 2012, vol.15, n.1, pp.3-21. ISSN 1516-0858.
This study is a professional experience report, accomplished during the Integrated Multiprofessional Residency Program in Hospital Care of HC/UFPR, at the Cardiovascular Area, in 2010. Its aim is to demonstrate the importance of the subjectivity treatment, performed by the psychologist in the hospital context, through interviews, with the clinical listening, based on the psychoanalytical theory. Three cases are presented, demonstrating significant events of life's story, thus considered because they affect the subjectivity and unleash non-elaborated losses, "experience of losses", which are actualized during the hospitalization period. It is possible to conclude that the psychological evaluation and follow-up enable the elaboration of these experiences, as well as the treatment of frequent psychological reactions, such as anxiety and depression, that affect the patient's clinical condition, thereby contributing with the medical treatment.
